You're telling me.  I was a sophomore at UCSB and had just gotten back from a morning run with three other teammates on the soccer team.  I have memories of the OJ verdict from middle school (which it's now occurring to me that some of the people in this thread weren't even alive - or at least old enough to form lasting memories - when that happened).

We’re about the same age, I was a freshman on 9/11.

Obligatory:

 

I was riding to school when the world stopped turning.  Heard about it on the radio, and honestly didn't really understand the gravitas of it.  Until i got to school and ended up just watching CNN in my first block class on the big theatre screen for hours beyond where classes normally would've switched.  Somewhat ironically, a WWII history class.

 

And i still don't know the difference in I Rock and I Ran.
