Who do you want as HC

For those of you who want Dabo Swinney, the annual college coach salaries have been released, and the Redskins will have to top 10 years, $93 million (along with a $50 million buyout) to bring Swinney to the Redskins.  On top of that, he's got full autonomy for his program at Clemson, and he would need to be offered the same here, and would be smart to leverage that buyout if Snyder/Allen try to weasel their way in.

In any case, I do not see him leaving Clemson for the Redskins with that kind of money.

Dabo isn’t going anywhere until Nick Saban retires

By that point Clemson might be so entrenched it might not be worth it to him to leave.  Especially if they keep such a stranglehold on the ACC.

That might be true, but Dabo is an SEC boy. In his head he’s playing in the minors.

The Redskins are going to go after big names for their next HC, strikeout and once again have to settle on a 2nd level up and coming coordinator who won't have any control of his own roster and we’ll be mediocre at best.

We're at the point where we are going to protect Kevin O'Connell because we are afraid to lose him.  No one will take the job knowing they can't pick their coach and have full control, so KOC is now the head coach.  Then, because there aren't any other options, Rob Ryan gets promoted to defensive coordinator.

With Alex Smith under center, and because the league has no idea what to expect from KOC, the Redskins will start 6-2 but stumble to 8-8.  Bruce and Dan are giddy that their QB choice paid off for part of the season.  We will spend a lot of money that off-season on Jalen Ramsay to help fix the defense, and ultimately once he gets paid, he gets lazy and causes locker room issues.  The bottom falls off in 2021, and will result in KOC and the coaching staff ousted.

At this point, it's time to once again try the Super Bowl winning coach, which will be Mike Tomlin, who has since walked away from the Steelers, and we see the Shanahan era repeat itself.  Tomlin wants to show everyone he means business by disciplining Ramsay, causing a rift which will ultimately lead to his release.  We will waste draft picks for another veteran QB ala McNabb/Smith, and when they don't work out, we spend a year with miscellaneous castoffs until we decide to draft another QB at the top of the draft, who will again fail because of the toxic environment here.

That may be true, but when he sees he has a more or less free pass to the playoffs, playing in the "minors" ain't such a bad thing.

My new man crush is the 49ers defensive coordinator! Tough, disciplined, he’ll bring back the zone blocking system running game and the Shanahan offense w/o the Shanahan egos. We’ll go back to the 4-3 so everyone can quit crying about that too!

He may not bring in Shanahan's offense, he has no loyalty to it aside from being on the same staff.

I’m not knocking the ACC at all. I’m a die hard U fan. Just saying SEC guys are SEC guys. Dabo is an SEC guy

I think we lure someone out of retirement. Big name, too.

Just a gut feeling...

Like Dungy

Or Rex Ryan

Or Bill Cowher

Dungy and Cowher know to stay away.  Rex Ryan is desperate enough to do it, and he would promote his brother to defensive coordinator.  He's worse than Manusky too.
