I don’t think he’s a remotely capable NFL starter, but he’s also not worse than Haskins currently. You could do a lot worse for a backup, and I don’t think he’s done anything to warrant getting demoted to 3rd string/inactive QB. Unless he handled the Gruden firing or the return of Keenum to the starting role really poorly, he should be the backup this week. And if Haskins really has legitimately surpassed Colt on the depth chart, Colt should be released. Why pay him money and keep him shackled to a clipboard?
