We're not expecting the dude to be a shutdown corner. We just need to not play Cyrus Jones and Justin Bethel. He's not going to be our 4th CB lol he's going to be our #2 right now and when Jimmy returns (if...) he'll be our #2/#3.

Look for the Rams to push for Jalen Ramsey with these moves being the precedessors to that. GOing to get interesting in the next few days. Maybe Trent Williams with the new cap space. That's not how it works. Talib still counts against the cap
EnVy_CaLiBeR
Kenny Young was benched for two guys signed off the street and we were getting suffered quite a few injuries in our secondary including at corner. I’ll take it and Peters is still so young. Hopefully he can bounce back from his play slipping with a change of scenery.
El Ramster
I hope peters turns it around in Bal. he’s a good dude and does a lot for the community! Specially the streets. But as a Rams player I don’t recall hating so much. Maybe Jason Smith or the kicker we got from Seattle.

He's almost definitely as least picking Goff off once when we play on MNF. Just hope he misses 10 tackles on Kupp that game that it doesn't matter. Kparty15
I bet the Rams are making room for Trae Waynes! Lol

The thing is, Marlon's not shadowing a guy who primarily lines up in the slot and is not the clear-cut #1 guy. Rams have 3 solid WR's, you can't just shadow Marlon with Cooper because Cooks and Woods are going to eat you alive.

That's a pretty good secondary. 12 minutes ago, AFlaccoSeagulls said: The thing is, Marlon's not shadowing a guy who primarily lines up in the slot and is not the clear-cut #1 guy. If you're going to get burnt anyways on we plays, you want to get burnt by the guy that you're planning on burning you. Woods and Kupp both need sure tacklers. Peters' gambling might pay off on a play or two against Cooks. Limiting Kupp and Woods after the catch is important.

It's a simple plan but 100% effective.

You'd assume that Jimmy would be working his way back from injury and unless Peters' play is really bad, a healthy Peters > a non-healthy Jimmy Smith. Brandon Carr right now is basically toast at the CB position. He fell off a cliff this year, so to speak. This could for sure happen.
