NJC33
Perfect example of how stats can be misleading: Both QB's looked good but I thought Darnold out played Jones despite worse numbers. Underwhelming game from Gase IMO, why the hell did we go away from a quick passing attack?
Abe56
Say what u want, but when Blessuan came in, pass d was a lil better nice job by the rook in his 1st nfl action

We just have to accept that this Line cannot run block effectively. Issue with relying on short passing game is teams behind playing press and sending heat so that first read has to work open quickly.
SDotNova
Fun game to watch. We're still a bad team though. Giants are just worse. This game continues to confirm why we traded Leo. Our DLine played really well. On the other side, Leo had a few almost sacks. We've seen those before.

I have no faith in it, but winning kut would put us at 9-7 with a decent shot at a wildcard
Abe56
Also pretty insane to hold Barkley to 1 yard rushing Elite performance by the run D

People dont pay attention to fumbles when looking up QB stats though.
KingOfNewYork
Run defense has been the most consistent thing for us the past 10 years. I think we’ve only had a single down year in that department.

How many times did we concede on 2nd down by forcing a run up the middle? It's been 9 weeks and yet we're still deploying the same run blocking schemes that continuously fail us, and our OL has proven incapable of handling. It's probably my biggest knock against Gase, that and he hasn't shown the ability to consistently operate off script.

This game just proves how bad our O line really is And it sure looks like we have big problems at CB. I don't ever want to see Hairston on the field again, Gase, yank him by halftime. Douglas has so much work to do where does even start the draft is 6 monts away.

Today it wasn’t there at all but I guess the threat of it helped the passing game out. First drive we had 6 runs, 5 of which were Bell basically getting nothing but it keeps the defense honest. It’s a weird, you wanna run with a 2 possession lead but God these dudes can’t create a hole to save their lives. Gotta give the Giants front some credit tho, they played well. KingOfNewYork
We need 3 Crowder type receivers out there tho. This offense is predicated on efficient route running and get to the open spots. Crowder is by far our best weapon for Darnold.
