I believe you are wrong on that

If Buffalo wins out and they have the same record as NE, Buffalo loses the tiebreaker.

Both 1-1 vs each other. Both 5-1 vs division. Browns/Eagles beat Buffalo, NE beat them both. Bills would have a win over the Ravens in this scenario, but the two wins (NE’s vs Philly/Cleveland) beat out the single (the one win vs Baltimore).

Even if NE loses to Buffalo, they’d have to lose another game (Chiefs/Bengals/Dolphins) to concede the division. Buffalo isn’t in control of their own destiny, in this sense - as far as the division/bye week go.

Impressive, for sure, no discrediting here, but some ridiculous cherry picking in a bias campaign. Bills are 3rd in both Yards Per Game Allowed and 3rd in Points Per Game Allowed.

And this is over 12 games not 10. If that’s how we are gonna play it, let me take out the Bills worst two defensive games of the year and they probably are #1 across the board.

You know, except for the fact that the Steelers Defense in the first two weeks didn't have arguably their best player in Minkah Fitzpatrick. But sure, definitely the same thing, right? Acting as if it's "cherry picking" is disingenuous bullcrap.

Come on now, we know damn well that ain't true. 4-12, maybe. That defense with that offensive line? That alone and you're already ahead of the curve no matter who's at QB. Basically, the Bears this year; who have won 6 games.

Do we seriously need to go back to the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade topic where everyone remarked the Steelers just gave away a Top 5 pick?

Well I believe that after head to head and division record it goes to conference record not common opponents.  Maybe  things have changed over the years.

That is the case for the wildcard IIRC, but definitely not for divisional tiebreakers. It is record vs common opponents, of which NE has two wins over Buffalo’s one win.

How is that cherry picking?  Its not 2 random games.   Its the games before we added Minkah Fitzpatrick, who helped transform the defense.

Bills have a better run defense.

Steelers have a better pass defense and are more opportunistic....and have done so despite being without their franchise QB and top RB most of the year.  Steelers D has been put in much worse situations by their offense than the Bills D the entire year.

This couldn't be farther from reality lol, ask any Bills fan what the strength and weakness of our defense is and it's completely opposite.

Passing YPG allowed : Bills 195.8, Steelers 213.5

Passing TDs allowed : Bills 9, Steelers 19

INTs : Bills 9, Steelers 19

20+ yard plays allowed : Bills 25 plays, Steelers 35 plays

Avg. pass allowed : Bills 6.2 yards, Steelers 6.9

QB passer rating : Bills 78.5, Steelers 82.4

Yes the Steelers have more INTs and are more opportunistic but the Bills have the best secondary in the NFL IMO and has been stingy all year long. Arguably a top 5 CB, top 5 SS, and top 5 FS. 9 passing TDs allowed in 12 games!! I feel like we're nit picking as both teams have elite D's lol.
