  1. 1. Two very young, talented but slender point guards, if you had to pick one going forward to build your team around who do you build your team around going forward?

Y’all who loved him definitely look right so far.  There’s never a perfect comp but he looks more Wade than Westbrook.

That's another good one. I just think it's his bounce and his ability to finish at incredible angles/distance that makes him special. Like, he's an incredible quick twitch athlete and there's not a real true comparison for him.

People put too much stock into on/off numbers. Jackson seems like he’s in a pretty good place for a 2nd year player

The biggest issue with JJJ is that as a guy that was picked one slot ahead of Luka Doncic he has only been okay and he hasn't improved at all between years 1 and 2.

As of today, he ranks 36/38 in rebounds % for centers playing 20+ mpg. Only ahead of Frank Kaminsky and Brook Lopez. And he also ranks in the top 10 again in both fouls per game and fouls per 48 min.

He was not picked ahead of Luka.

His biggest issue is foul rate. Rebounding is tough as well, but good God he hacks so much.

Except for everything in his past, including high school. He fades as the season wears on. College he shot 39% from the field and 33% from 3. Last year, he shot 41% from the field and 32% from 3. If he shoots 45% and 38% on his volume, I'll stop posting here.

EDIT - I'm sorry, he shot 42% and 36% in college. 39% and 33% were against the Big 12. Point still stands.

Trae Young fades as the season wears on?  Didn't he play significantly better towards the end of last season than he did in the beginning of it?
