patriotsheatyan
These teams combine their two listed Super Bowl losers rosters and staffs with their two Super Bowl winners rosters and staffs. Who would win on neutral field with two weeks to prepare?
Nabbs4u
It's a catch 22 for the Eagles. You're talking about really only adding TO, Westbrook and Technically McNabb to a Top 3 offense that was led by Nick Foles to win the SB. But had a Probable League MVP in Wentz start 13 games but get injured? As good as Tra, Runyun and the rest of the OL were in 04', not sure many replace any of the 2017 Eagles OL. Unless we are accounting for Jason Peters eventual injury, Wentz , Sproles, TO, ect?? Are we? Or are we making the best 53 man roster/Starting 22? To me it boils down to the 04' Defense that was 2nd in Pts allowed that season being added to what was a Top 5 SB winning defense "technically" in 2017 for the Eagles. Regardless what transpired in the actual SB! Top 5! Dawkins, Simon, Kearse, Trotter, Sheppard, Brown? Does Jim Johnson get to come be the DC? If so I'd take my chances with the combined Eagles defense reaking havoc and as a team. Eagles combined OL/DL would of been filthy but the Seahawks having both Alexander and Beast Mode would of been downright scary to go against. IMO... Eagles: OL, WR, TE and yes even QB (Young Wilson, not the MVP type player he is now 6 years later) Seahawk: RB, LB, Secondary, probably Coaching. DL might be a wash although adding Kearse and Simon to what was already the #1 ranked rush Defense. It might not be? Would be a hell of a matchup though. Elky
Seahawks. The 05 team is criminally underrated imo. I can't imagine the damage Russell Wilson would do behind that offensive line. Edited November 23, 2019 by Elky
DirtyDez
Which officiating crew is doing the game?
Malik
Basically the Seahawks from 2013, but they now have an elite offensive line?
Soko
Hawks, I think their run game (Hutch/Walt line + Alexander + Lynch + Russ) would be unstoppable and the pass defense would be too difficult to pass on.
diamondbull424
Seahawks. They had the legion of boom which is one of the top defenses of all time being combined with an elite OL and Skittles and Shaun Alexander both on the same roster. Throw in some of the read option. Elite defenses win championships. I don’t think McNabb was clutch enough and I don’t think Foles was good enough to expose the Seahawks LOB at its peak. NeptunePenguins
Most people are picking the Seahawks in the comments, but they are losing in the voting? Huh, odd. I can't see how the Seahawks don't win here. That 2013 defense is amazing, and now you have to add an elite O-Line and Shaun Alexander to that team? That team would be tough to beat. Wentz in 2017 was far better than McNabb ever was in any point in his career.
