Nex_Gen
Gilmore's play right now is on par with Revis in 09. And that was the best season by a CB I've ever seen. He isn't just locking down the opponent's best receiver week to week. Any ball that comes near him is ending up in his defense's favor. Bearerofnews
Its not even the best cb this year. Not sure what people are watching. But its no way close to all time play. True but at the end of the day all you can really go by is what happened vs. what might/did. Coming from a Vikings fan and watching current Xavier Rhodes I'm way more inclined to believe that Nnamdi just fell off a cliff. Rhodes was absolutely dominant a few years ago, in the same system and only like 2 years later is the worst corner in the league. It's astounding how quickly elite CB's can fall off. No CB has a better passer rating allowed and he shadows #1s on most weeks.

Gilmore has him beat across the board. Less completios allowed, lower completion %, less yards allowed, lower QBR against, less yards per target and completion. I do agree with your statement. JuJu isn't a number one Wr and he will never produce again without a true number one beside him. Beckham has only 2 TDs and 2 100 yard games this year. His game against the Patriots was very average for him this year. Coopers shut down was impressive but, when was the last time he played a elite Wr the same goes with White. Lol Juju is just stuck with a crap QB. ODB is still ODB. You’re trying to hard.

Of course players fall off. That happens with age, I"m not even sure what you're trying to argue? Who do you think has played better than Gilmore this year?
