The sacks mainly happened due to the blitzes on our long developing PA calls. Thought the Saints just made a good adjustment there.
TecmoSuperJoe
Also, happy for Jimmy. Yeah, Kittle made that long run, but on 4th and 2 when the 49ers needed to extend the drive, he got it. Also that run for the first down a little earlier showed true grit. I might actually tune in to see what that clown Stephen A. Smith has to say now. He's thrown shade at him all season claiming he's held the team back, and just looked at box scores.
Ataal
Gonna be honest, I had zero faith at the start of the second quarter. What....a....game. Glad I was wrong.

So many opportunities to fold. Down 27-14 in the 2nd and they had all the momentum in the world. I think the following drive was our sanders trick play TD I've heard people describe 4th and 2 as the play of the game, in the game of the year....that might be the biggest single play all year so far
oldman9er
I feel a lot better about our O hanging in on shootouts. .. and a bit worse about our D being great. I do think it was just a bad day, and officiating didn't help. They are good.. but talent-wise, I think they can be coached better by someone with larger testicles. Defense was terrible no doubt but they have proven to be far more good than bad. Sometimes it just happens this way. Give NO props for having a great game plan and taking advantage of our weaknesses. But injuries are starting to catch up on that end.

I was very critical early on with Jimmy. But he has earned the support of this team and fan base. Doesn't mean I won't have issues with him again...lol
TecmoSuperJoe
BTW Jimmy has 25 passing TDs now. Best mark since since 2001 when Jeff Garcia had 32. Haha, sad.

Can't take one gm vs Brees in the Superdome. Sometimes u just gotta win the gms that's in front of u.

Yes, the losses of Kwon A, Tarrt, busted up Sherman, and a broke down Ford are no easy dismissals. I'm not nor have ever been a big fan of the bend don't break soft cushion D scheme. I understood it, when our best edge guy was Marsh... but c'mon.. we have gotten better with Bosa and AA improving. Time to grow a pair and tighten it up, imho.
