They aren't pathetic, but they're nothing close to starting caliber 3-4 OLB. Few are, actually, which is a huge weakness in the 3-4... This is why the Bears traded for Mack. They are so hard to find. Leonard Floyd also can't play a 4-3 defensive end.

They're as close to pathetic as you can get.

Lynch's athleticism is absolutely gone, he looked like he wouldn't be able to outrun Goldman at times. He's not anywhere near the kid that looked like a rising star in SF. Irving is a guy that should be on special teams and that's about it. That's not a bad thing since he was an UFA. But raising expectations at OLB shouldn't be that hard. dll2000
Miller, Burton and Smith to have surgeries with goal of returning for camp. No word on MT's shoulder presumably that means he is not having surgery.

beardown3231
Don't forget that even if Pace met him, odds are he wouldn't have pulled up in an old Corolla, so it wouldn't have made a difference.

The need to bring up Watson or Mahomes over Trubisky comments every time they have a great game or make a great play is getting really lame. Yes we all know that they are better than Mitch and that we're a cursed franchise when it comes to QBs. Fact is nothing is going to change what happened 3 years ago on that draft night. SMH people need to move forward already....

Watching that game he was making great throws and smart decisions. He needs protection and weapons. If he signed him we need to invest in OL and a TE. One year deal and Mitch can back him up. Watching Watson just pisses me off, nobody would have guessed Mahomes greatness, but Watson was an easy safe QB pick.
