Often a third down back or something along those lines. Drafttek separates them in such a manner, and that's basically how I view the difference. Kirill
Still can't believe we got Jonathan Taylor and Zack Moss for pennies on the dollar. MVP Mahomes is back

Our offense will still be pass heavy and these guys will split the touches. Taylor held up fine in college getting the rock like 30 times a game. Playing in KC will be like taking the ankle weights off.

But... doesn't that sound like an argument against spending a mid-2nd and mid-4th round pick on the RB position? (I'm not saying that you haven't had a good draft or anything. Just seems like two valuable picks spent on a devalued draft position for a pass heavy team.)

We just won the super bowl because Andy Reid didn't abandon the run on crucial downs. If you watch Mahomes MVP year there's a huge drop off in his effectiveness once we cut Kareem Hunt at the end of the year. If Hunt doesn't lie to the team and get cut we have 2 championships right now. Our running game was also unreliable for stretches of last season and it slowed down our offense as a result. Damien Williams missed 5 games with injury last season and is only under contract for one year. We've been drafting BPA the entire draft. Taylor was top 20 on our board and Moss was BPA for an entire round before we selected him. Anyone else we were even considering is still available in the 5th. That's a strong argument. That was the argument I was hoping you'd make: "To elevate this team from a champion to a dynasty, we knew how important it was to develop a dominant running game. By drafting Taylor and Moss, along with a guy like Shane Lemieux, we feel confident that we can control the ground, making our offense unstoppable." Or something.
