Huge disagree. However you want to slice it, that team has a legitimate argument for most talented team ever.

Sure....in the regular season.

In the playoffs where it matters the 16 Warriors aren't some otherworldy team when you compare them to the 97 Jazz. They're actually pretty equal.

And MJ NEVER beat a team as good as the Golden State Warriors...

There are also a handful of teams LeBron faced in the finals better than anyone Jordan faced in the finals.

You still cant deny the fact that LeBron had an easier path to the finals than Jordan. And when he got to the finals he lost more times than he won. Not 1, not 2, not 3..... when everyone says he finally got help, a Dirk led Mavs team denied him. Jordan never lost in a finals. Jordan Never needed a game seven. Jordan has faced more hall of famers in the playoffs than LeBron has. And in far less seasons.

The Bulls faced dynasties before they broke through.  Lebron caught a couple of great Boston teams before the big-3 aged.

Other than Dallas I don’t have any finals losses affecting his legacy.

With KD. I think the Bulls could take the first iteration of that team

Yes, Jordan definitely faced some teams in the East LeBron never did. He usually lost to the juggernauts just like LeBron against elite teams in the finals. The rest of the post is largely irrelevant. Besides, by SRS Jordan's teams beat 15 top 10 teams in the East. LeBron's have beaten 14. The gap isn't gigantic.

Context matters is my point.

Yeah. I'm still in the Jordan > LeBron camp for now but the amount of rewriting history Jordan gets is pretty ludicrous. By SRS, LeBron has faced 5 teams harder than anyone ever did in the finals. That's not including the coasting 2018 Warriors. It's also not factoring in that the 90's in general are clearly a more watered down era than the 2010's. That's just a fact. They added six expansion teams between 1988-1995, high school basketball participation had been trending down since 1979 and international players comprised a whopping 6% of the league. There was no era more suited to be dominated than the 90's.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I also have Jordan as being better than LeBron. However, the arguments some people use are just dumb.

Like why bring up LeBron's Finals record if you're not willing to secede he never lost in the 1st? It's contradictory. Why is one a strong argument and the other "Weak af"?

Just talk about them as players and not their resumes. Who was better running the P&R? Who was a better help defender? Those are the arguments.
