One of the interesting things that becomes clear reading the start of the thread is that the argument for drafting Love was not just "they need a QB to replace Rodgers" or "he's a high end prospect they got at a bargain because he needed work" but specifically that Love was a high end prospect who needed work, but with whom you could actually run the same offense so he's worth having as a backup while you work on his issues.

Since like, he's obviously not Rodgers in his prime (neither was Rodgers in his first year starting) but you don't need to hold back the offense for him.

Jordan Love seems like a guy you'd be OK with dating your daughter. Favre and Rodgers, not so much. I hope he always stays as humble as he appears. I know it's going to be hard when everyone is telling you how great you are.
