It's all of the above, IMO. He should be put on notice subtly, but there's no reason to make any decisions yet. We have a guy developing who is also great depth, a rotational piece and now a hedge for the future, depending on how the next year goes with Njoku.

It’s also a position that typically takes time to develop.

While people are seeing this as Njoku’s replacement, he could very possibly be Hooper’s replacement in a few years.

He just adds depth and options imo.  Good pick.

The good part about TEs, particularly in Stefanski’s offense, he can be #2 quality and still get a lot of reps. So he just has to be decent to be a win.
