Additionally if what AVP likes to do overlaps with Stefanski eventually there comes a point of redundancy. You don’t need people to tell you what you already know.

And as much as people seem to love Stump for whatever reason, I was absolutely underwhelmed by our schemes on the ground the second half of the year.  Idk man, not saying he’s bad or whatever but I’m not seeing an irreplaceable dude.

That’s why I’ve been rooting for Greg Roman since last year. We know he wouldnt call plays but we could add his rpo and zone read to the playbook which Watson would excel at.

It's starting to seem as if Watson wouldn't hold up in an RPO offense.

He's kind of fragile.

DTR should never see the field again unless there’s a disaster.

The disaster is known as Deshaun Watson. I think DTR is gonna still be a part of the offense ever so slightly (2-3 reps per game) just to develop him as an emergency option. Keep him familiar with the speed of an actual game.

Watson isn’t exactly the most reliable dude out there.

Tell me about Alex Van Pelt.

I wonder if he'd be a fit in Vegas. He has ties to Marvin Lewis who is advising Pierce. Drawing a connection on potential OC candidates.

He did not call play here, so tough to say how he would do in that regard, but if your team hires him, I'd be optimistic. Our offense has dealt with a lot of injuries across the board, and a lot of uncertainty at the QB position the last several years, and generally has performed well enough to win games.

He called plays in the playoff win against the Steelers where they scored 48 points. There was a defensive score and a few short fields but it looked good, you wouldn't think it was a substitute playcaller.

We don’t really know. He didn’t call plays so it’s impossible to say.

Is Bill Callahan still on our staff? I was of the opinion that he was.

His Son Brian is a Hot Coaching Candidate.....and he has a good chance in ATL, Car and Tenn....if he gets hired, you KNOW Pop's is headed to coach the line and be Asst. HC for his Baby Boy......None of us could begrudge him that no?
