Ultimately, Tampa got their legs back and then just kept the pick from the rangers and stopped taking penalties. Tampa is much bigger into the forecheck game, grinding down the pace, utilizing actual puck skills, protecting the puck, etc. The problem for them is that I think the Avs are also very good on the forecheck and the cycle and they are just a ton faster lol.
