Where did you hear this?

Ralph Vaccahiao via nfltraderumors.   his sources told him not to read into anything about Jets' recent 2nd round interviewees.

That could be the Jets trying to get other teams to believe that. I’m not buying it. Saleh and Smith are both in the top 3 with another candidate who we likely can’t interview until Sunday at the earliest.

Anything is possible.   Many told information come from sources, not JD himself.

Our media has no info, our insiders have nothing. That means we have a guy in mind and aren’t letting any team get the drop on us.

I just wonder if it's Saleh or Smith or if they are waiting on someone still in the playoffs.

I stated in my post that said we need to spend 90% of assets on offense and that we need 1 edge and 1 cb (assuming we resign guys Ike Maye, Poole, Hewitt). Where on offense we need almost everything. RB, 2 WRs, TE, OG, QB... I can keep going. The offense needs way more work. And in today’s bro is way more important as well.

Yes we need a full overhaul on offense, we can get away with spending the majority of our picks on offense.  All we really need is some range at LB, a vet corner (do we want all of our CBs to be 2nd year/rookies?) and EDGE.  I think speedy LBs, change of scheme and an edge rusher will take care of the "secondary woes."  Enter Saleh and switching to a 4 man front.  Q can have a huge year.

Didn’t know where to put this so just adding it to our coaching discussion.

Former running back and special team player Leon Washington has signed on as an assistant special teams coach. Thought that was cool as I really liked him when he played for us.
