I’m going to have to rewatch it at some point. I remember it being a great idea for a movie because simply being stuck in a cave would be mortifying, they’re naturally fright inducing to be in. But then you add humanoid monsters of people that were down there and evolved into Gollum-like creatures and it’s a whole notha level. And that’s the emotions I get from seeing my scrawny nephew. Love the descent. One of my favorite horror movies of the last twenty years. One of the few great horror movies during the torture porn and reboot era that was the 2000s
adamq
The wife drug me to Barbie.... woof The opening scene was brilliant.. beyond that there wasn't much at all for me. She liked it overall but was pretty disappointed with the direction they took it in

beekay414
Across the Spider-Verse was absolutely fantastic. I'm not typically an animated movie person but my buddy asked me if I wanted to go this morning and I said sure why not. Rented Into the Spider-Verse last night and then went to AtSV today. Forget being an animated movie, it's just a great movie in general.
thrILL!
Just watched it with the fam. We love the first one but dare I say this was just as good if not better? Great additions to the cast (Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, John Mullaney) and one of the coolest villains I’ve ever seen in an animated movie in the Grim Reaper. The action is so Spider-Verse inspired stylistically that I’m going to assume the sequences were done by an animation studio who worked on both. And it works big time.
Bowler1215
Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning part 1 was a lot of fun. Good action and stunts. The finale on the Orient Express was worth the price of admission by itself(especially the way Tom Cruise has to get on the train) It didn't feel like a 2 hour 43 minute movie either. You don't really get to know the new characters well, just what you need to know. Can't wait for part 2(next year according to IMDB) 8/
thrILL!
I’ve seen every other Tarantino film (most of them multiple times) but somehow hadn’t seen this before. It might not have best narrative of his films but it’s fun for what it is which is an exploitation/slasher movie. I’d put it in the lower-mid tier of his films. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Inglorious Basterds Jackie Brown Pulp Fiction Django Unchained Reservoir Dogs Death Proof Kill Bill 1&2 Hateful Eight

I think i'd put this above the other Puss in Boots movies AND above all the Shrek movies as well.
