I remember the classes from 1 to 2 not being exactly the same, or am I not remembering that right? I wonder if they will fix that. I've done a full playthrough of all 3 several times. Because while I have a soft spot for ME1's clunky gameplay, I mostly just used Soldier - Pistol - Marksman (or whatever the accurate rapid fire for pistols ability was). No and I would highly doubt they change any story elements. I'm sure you would assume the same.
