The “raw/toolsy” QBs(Lamar/Allen/Herbert/Mahomes/Watson) coming out of college >>>>>>>> the “NFL ready/safest prospect in the draft” QBs(Rosen/Trubisky/Darnold)

Trubisky was not safe. Watson was safer.

Yeah but like...I mean if you're playing at 39, 40, or beyond it's like....yeah that's pretty good luck. It's hard to really be upset or feel like you've been dealt a bad hand injury-wise if you make it to 40. You kinda won at that point.

I think QBs playing until ~40 is gonna be the norm now, for guys whose services are still sought. Even Carson Palmer made it to 39 as a starter.

The Saints have allowed their opponents to score a TD on 17 of 20 red zone drives this season (highest such TD pct in NFL).

The Saints are 1-36 when trailing by 17+ points in a game in the Drew Brees era (since 2006).

Stop posting these. I know we suck. You just keep making me sad.

Pretty sure Watson was widely considered as the safe guy but people weren't sold on his ceiling being that high. That was my outlook on him for sure.

This is correct if memory serves right. Watson was the most NFL ready but also had the lowest cieling. Mitch had the highest ceiling but was considered very raw.
