That hit messed him up, he ended up doing one of the weirdest TD dance celebrations ever. He was never the same again According to Skip Bayless, against Chicago Brady was concussed and unable to grasp what down it was....He (Bayless) would be the one to get an opinion from, since clearly he is the authority on concussions.... He now gets rattled easy against defenses that attack him especially in the playoffs. One reason is he cannot scramble and extend the play like he could in his early days. He also doesn’t have 6th sense Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings to abandon a play and get open for him when plays fall apart. The 15-1 season and subsequent playoff humiliation set the tone for future playoff curses. No reason to get spanked by the 3-2 Bucs.

To bad we had to play them on the road...

I just posted this in the post game thread: Rob Demovsky - Aaron Rodgers was pressured 12 times in the 38-10 loss, the most he's been under duress in a game this season. He went 2-of-7 for 10 yards (with 4 sacks and a scramble) on those plays. The Bucs blitzed him 17 times. He went 5-of-14 with two sacks and two INTs. That's tied for the most times he's been blitzed over the last two seasons, per ESPN Stats & Info.
40Year Pack Fan
Sad part is, we'll expect GB's OL and DL to get better after a beat down like this....Last year it was SF and things didn't get better the second time around....Time to expedite a trade for some DL help.... Mazrimiv
At this point it looks like the primary difference between the 2019 and 2020 teams is that the 2020 team won't have as much trouble beating the bad teams. The offense is more in sync this season, and should score more points. The same core issues that got the team rolled (twice) vs SF last season still exist, and haven't been addressed in any meaningful way. I would not like GB's chances at all were they to face TAM again in the playoffs.
Gopackgonerd
These games really are painful to watch, Elite defenses outside of the division always seem to be Rodgers/Packers Kryptonite. When you can't run the ball, and the opposing team is ahead it's pretty much over when they pin their ears back. Rodgers gets rattled with waves of pressure. And I get it Rodgers played bad, but this OL just didn't help the cause at all too. Defense today, we just couldn't get a lick of pressure on Brady. Z/Preston need to step their game up. I'm glad Clark was back but it didn't seem to help much in the pass rush department. In these games it's like we do the exact opposite of what the other team does well, which is well, do pretty much everything wrong lol. Welp we got the Texans next week we can beat up on at least.... right..? Edited October 18, 2020 by Gopackgonerd
Howler
Remember that one time during his career, it was suicide to blitz Rodgers. But without Driver, Jordy and Co., Rodgers isn't as decisive with his pedestrian group of WRs.

You dont necessarily need to chuck it deep to beat the blitz. Not IMO at least. However, you need to connect on your intermediate stuff - the faster stuff - and we failed to do that after the first two drives. Night and day. Mr. Fussnputz
Legitimate question looking for an answer: MLF's offense is predicated on a lot of pre-snap movement and misdirection. I didn't see that today. Why not? Was the loss of Ervin the reason? If so, why didn't someone else, like Jones, take that role?

We need fast twitch WRs that can plant and cut on the intermediate tree. There really isn't anyone like that on the team. MVS is more of a long strider.
