Kentucky is outrageously bad this year and watching them is painful. Worse than the team that lost to Robert Morris. You'd like to think they at least have some building blocks for future in Dontaei, Brooks (So), Fletcher, Ware, Askew, but I'm sure all those guys will find themselves undrafted or will have transferred come October.

The one-n-done was fun for Duke/UK while it lasted and at least we both got titles but man, it's not sustainable at all.

I'm sad we didn't get to play our game against them. Have no doubt we'd have lost, but it would have been a nice barometer for where the team is at compared to the rest of the top of the nation.

Well, I'll tell ya what everyone else knows. There's Gonzaga, then there's a pretty substantial gap. That's where you'll find Baylor by themselves. Then you take a quick hop, skip and a jump over a few craters and you'll find the rest of college basketball. Gonzaga may not lose and I'd honestly put everything I own on them not losing.

I was pessimistic about Duke coming into the year, especially after our two early losses to Michigan State and Illinois. But I'm warming up to this team and think we have a pretty decent ceiling to make a run in the tournament. I like our guard play as Jeremy Roach looks like he's starting to figure it out and DJ Steward is a player, basically a Nolan Smith clone. Most importantly/surprising though, Matthew Hurt has really taken a huge leap this year. I wasn't a huge fan of him last year but the added/weight strength has really helped him and there's a good chance he could win ACC POY.

Jalen Johnson is supposedly coming back from his foot injury soon as well. Should be a fun finish to the season.
