MightyMouse07
Frank is sure to continue moving up the rushing list. He just passed Dickerson and has Bettis within his sights. Do you think that will be enough for him to get in? He never lead the league in rushing. No AP 1st team finished. Best finish was 3rd in rushing in 2006. He has 5 total top 10 finishes in rushing in his career. I live in CA and many of my friends are 9er fans and all they've talked about is Gore being a HOFer and I pretty much disagree. I don't think he has done anything HOF worthy. Just hall of consistently very good. Thoughts? Other arguments to add to either side?

Gore will squeak into Canton, but it's sad seeing him inch forward in so many meaningless games for the struggling Colts. Can't recall I've seen a future HOF back with so many mediocre carries for a team he didn't star with. He's at a 3.1 ypc this season, and this isn't a short yardage specialist. Incarcerated_Scarface
I love me some Gore but I agree that he isn't HOF caliber. He's a great back but at this point he's just adding stats and not looking good while doing it.
CrashMan510
no. never was a HOF level back during his prime but considering guys like curtis martin and terrelle davis are in....he has a legit shot, especially since hes going to end up really high in the all time rush list
Malik
He's a textbook compiler. His 2006 was legitimately fantastic, but everything else is pretty much solid numbers
jonu62882
His time with the Eagles should get him in.
Forge
It's going to be close. He has supporters. People love the story. He was a good all around back - in his prime he as a monster blocker, good out of the backfield, and could run. That stuff helps. His bulk stats match up against the greatest ever. So he has a legit shot, no question. Hard to say whether or not he gets in though.
sp6488
He has a legit shot. I wouldn't say it's a travesty were he to get in, but I'm fairly meh on his candidacy.
Small Town Values
No. Judge him against his peers, not players from past eras. He's had a very good career, better than most, but he's not hof worthy.
patriotsheatyan
Definitely. The most productive back drafted since Tomlinson.

Carmen Cygni
Frank Gore is a HOF player. His longevity at the RB position along with year in and year out production (career 4.4 y/c over 13 years & 92 total TDs) is phenomenal.
