They actually might be pretty decent this season. Westbrook - Beal - Avdija - Hachimura - Bryant w/Bertans in a super 6th man role.

DirtyDez
They have the same contract I thought Westbrook’s ended a year sooner. Still good for Wash.

Kip Smithers
Really interested to see what version of John Wall we get.

Wall is basically a much slower version of Westbrook at this point.
Mox
If Wall has anything left I like this for both sides. He's a better fit for the Rockets and Harden than Westbrook. Even if he's completely done you still get a first round pick for going from the 2nd worst deal to the first and remove the worst backcourt fit in basketball. In Washington, Westbrook can stat pad and floor raise those guys to contention for the postseason.

IIRC Beal and Lillard are the only players in the league to average 30+ ppg and not win an MVP award. I think Westbrook fits better with Beal than he did with Harden. Not to mention he'll get to play for Scott Brooks again who was his coach during at the start of his career in OKC. I don't like the Wizards depth but I think they have some interesting pieces and should be pretty competitive in the Eastern Conference. Pastor Dillon
Getting Westbrook off the rockets is a plus. If Wood is as good as everyone keeps saying, the rockets will be really solid. If wall can just run the offense with Gordon while harden sits 14 minutes a night, we will be good.

Honestly, a chip on your shoulder John Wall could be VERY fun. You just have to hope he's recovered most of what he had two years removed. I'm going to miss him. MookieMonstah
I cant wait for the spin zone. Its going to be incredible. This is a terrible trade for Houston. Wall might not even play and if he does, the guys body is shot. Why take on that deal? At least Westbrook will be on the court.

Westbrook is better than Wall. It's not even really close at this point. He was a bad fit with Harden (oh man who saw that coming) but so is Wall and he's...worse. Rockets aren't a threat to anything but a playoff spot and an early exit at this point.
