True story - he made a pro bowl for you guys in 1995. I learned that today. I couldn't believe it

The history of the Chiefs is that of poor and/or journeymen QBs riding elite defense's to mediocrity and all the accolades that come with it. Steve Bono, Elvis GrBac, Bill Kenney, Matt Cassel, and Alex Smith, all pro-bowlers. Practically a Mount Rushmore of QB excellency.

Could probably throw 93 Montana in there too, but his name just added some legitimacy to the list, even though his play that year probably fits.

I have the Giants scoring 10 points tonight: a field goal and a garbage time touchdown. We lose 42-10, Eli has 2 pick sixes, gets sacked 5 times, but we can all honestly look back and say "yeah Eli isnt what lost them this game". Bold predictions.

Not bad. I'll say 47-0, Denver; Eli, with a might effort from Ereck Flowers and the Giants' O-line, gets sacked 13 times, tearing several ligaments to be named later. Ben McAdoo, his face hidden by his huge plastic menu, is oblivious to his quarterback's distress; questioned repeatedly about his lack of concern at the press conference, he coins the phrase "what part of 'that's all I have right now' don't you understand???"

Who is elite then?

I agree with the guy who said there is no elite team this year.    Chiefs are probably the closest....but I just see them as a well rounded team who started off hot.

No disrespect to the Chiefs....I just use the term :"elite" very sparingly.

Nantz:   Oh and its caught!!!!

Romo:  NO WAY!!!!

xD

I like Romo in the booth.   He just sounds like he is having fun.   Much rather listen to him than that malfunctioning robot Phil Simms.
