SBLIII
Jeremy Fowler on Twitter: "Running back James White is expected to re-sign with the New England Patriots, per source. It's not done but should be pretty soon. The versatile RB with 25 touchdown catches since 2014 back in the fold for New England." / Twitter
Deadpulse
Wow unexpected, typically these guys leave for $$ but I guess the Brady effect wore off quick
Soko
I’m with it. Limited as he may be, James is a quality back for what he’s asked to do.
SteelKing728
Should've been SBMVP vs the Falcons.
SaveOurSonics
I'll be interested to see the numbers, pretty surprised the Bucs weren't all over this with their lack of a true satellite back for Brady.

Plenty of backs in the draft that are younger & cheaper Tampa FO seem to be high on Felton

No I feel you White would have been a good pickup A Pass catching back is basically the only thing our offense lacked But we still managed to win without one so 🤷♂️
ChazStandard
Surprised. It's not like they really need him with the stable of young backs they have, and expected him to either chase a ring in Tampa, or take bigger money elsewhere.
HoboRocket
This is a random aside, but the Cardinals have been drafting and/or signing stereotypical "New England" backs under Keim. DJ Foster is a former Pat, both Chase Edmonds and Eno Benjamin were heavily linked to NE pre-draft, Andre Ellington had one of those skill-sets, obviously David Johnson was an elite third-down back in his prime. PatriotsWin!
1 yr @ $2.5 million is a STEAL. I'm surprised White didn't go elsewhere tbh. I thought he would get a ton more money from another team (thought he was Tampa bound).
FinSting
Pats have paid millions to so many geezer players with nothing left in the tank. Will Saleh's young Jets leapfrog the AARP-Pats and push BB into dead last place in the division? The answer to this question is served with applesauce. And Bingo.
