Doesn't look like there has been a thread like this on FF lately, what gives!?

My list is pretty similiar. Obviosuly that 5 to 8 range is very tough, pretty negligible difference between the caliber of those players.

I guess I am in the minority, and have been for a few years, BUT what does KD have to do to be higher than Lebron? I have felt KD has been an equal player (in a different way of course) to LJ for the last few years and definitely surpassed him last season. BUT the Love for Lebron NEVER goes down. WTF.

OK back to my minority corner.

- 2 through 4 can be ordered in any way Imo, but I'm taking the best defender in this league who has developed into an elite and super-efficient scorer.

- A bit of the Giannis ranking is from what he's done to start the year, but he's been an easy top 15-top 10 player since last year and he seems to have taken a MAJOR step.

- Davis, Harden, and Westbrook are guys I tend to always lump together. Harden and Westbrook have had regular season success, but I still truly believe Davis is the better player.

- Towns is a top 10 player in this league. If he improves on defense then he's arguably a top 5 player in this league.

- George, Butler, and Wall are also guys I usually place in a same tier. Hands-down all stars who have arguments as top 10 players in this league but I can't take any of them over Towns.

- Paul is still a top 15 player in this league, and once the playoffs hit, there are only a handful of players I want over him.

- Blake is going to have a career year. Top 15 guy for sure.

- Draymond is hands down a top 15 player imo. The best ALL AROUND defender in the game, an elite passer and an elite rebounder. Intangibles too. He gets so much hate, but the guy is a flat out star.

First five out:

1. DeMarcus Cousins

2. Marc Gasol

3. Klay Thompson

4. Damian Lillard

5. Gordon Hayward

Gobert, McCollum, Irving, Jokic, Kristaps are the next 5.

***If Embiid can play at least 70 games this season, then I think I'd have him in that "First five out" group.
