Nacho Simulation Football League (Season 22 - Taco Bowl XXII POSTED!)

Not perfect because any "keepers" were defaulted to "pick 0"

The trendline is downward, which makes sense, but it isn't significant, and if you really look at it, you have a very similar distribution between the "keepers" the "5th-7th rounders", and frankly even the "comp picks"

If you ignore the 3 outliers who were drafted WELL beyond round 10, then you get this

nsfl.png

Meaning there is no correlation between 5 weeks of results and draft position (among the players drafted within the first 10 rounds)

Sample size of 5 games and only 1 season is certainly not enough to draw conclusions, but I'm in no way convinced that draft position correlates success here

A better comp might be real life yardage to NSFL yardage, but frankly, I don't want to do that, and I think seeing how some big names are so low, I imagine it doesn't correlate super well either

Or maybe I'm just trying to create an "anti-TE" meta so that I can get a good one cheap next year.. who can say!??

Just now, MookieMonstah said:

I think one of the biggest factors for TE is aggressive/conservative settings. The more conservative your offense is the more the TE is on the field, aggressive offenses go 3WR set more often with no TE.

See, I've been told (and have sort of seen) the opposite: that aggressive offenses will throw to the TE more. When I modified my sliders that way, Pitts had his strongest game.

I also think it's the opposite of what Mookie said but I could be wrong.
