They don't have to force it to him, but be smart about it. He's a skilled scorer, so when Durant was guarding him with 4 fouls and when Kyrie and Harris got switched onto him, they should have taken advantage and fed the beast.

Milwaukee can make adjustments. I don't trust Brooklyn's defense to play as well as they did or for Middleton and Holiday to shoot like 30% from the field or whatever they did.

After yesterday, with a healthy Harden I'd expect a 5 game series. But without Harden and if players regress to their means for both teams, it should be a tossup.

Bucks can still win the series. With Harden? Yeah, that was likely not to happen but without him they should on paper at least have the edge. But will Bud get in his way like he always does or make adjustments? Will ha play Giannis 40-42 MPG instead of 34-36 MPG?

The Nets HAVE to play both Kyrie and KD 40+ minutes a game to have a chance. They are going to be worn down the longer the series goes.

To me, it's not just about getting Lopez more touches. He's not getting more than 11-13 shots in most games. That's fine, but try playing Giannis at the 5 and play him more as the roll man. Nets have NO answer for that as either Jrue/Middleton get an open mid range shot or lay up or Giannis gets a lay up/dunk. This will force the Nets weakside defenders to help more giving the shooters wide open looks. This is why Giannis isolating or being the ball handler on the pick and rolls plays in the Nets favor. They get to stick with the shooters and the Bucks don't get anything from down town. Heat kind of did the opposite trying to limit Giannis, which they did a good job of but allowing guys like Forbes to go off.

Completely agree. Giannis set by far his career high in ball screens in one of the games against Brooklyn earlier this season. They need to get back to that. Donte being out hurts this a little, but they can still run Holiday-Connaughton-Middleton-Tucker-Giannis.

Like you said, Giannis should at minimum play 40 minutes. You are conservative with him in the regular season so you can play him a lot longer in the playoffs...not keep him essentially at his same minutes level. Freaking Bud...

I would DEFINITELY have Giannis in the game in any KD non-minutes. People always talk about matching minutes with the other superstar and that's fine and all, but you need to make your move when KD is on the bench. Kyrie will play big minutes again so the Bucks guards need to try to pressure him and deny him as much as possible to tire him out.

Can MKE still win the series if they go down 2-0?

How much of a "must win" is tonight's game?

Can they? Sure, but it will obviously be difficult. But without Harden, the Nets are not unbeatable. So the Bucks can still win even if they go down 2-0, especially if KD/Kyrie get worn down.

430 teams in NBA playoffs history have gone down 0-2 and only 28 have come back to win the series.

We just saw a team come back from a 0-2 deficit. It is very difficult indeed, but possible. There isn't a big talent discrepancy with Harden out between the two teams.

Against a team who's #2 option was Tim Hardaway Jr and that was playing Boban extended minutes.

And? Did it not happen? Did the Raptors not come back from 0-2 vs Bucks in 2019 or the Cavs vs the Celtics the year prior? Thunder almost came back from 0-2 vs Houston last year and were one shot away from advancing. A 2-0 deficit with two home games coming up is not a death knell. Is it difficult? That goes without saying but it's not like this is a 3-1 deficit we are talking about.

That's true but going down 2-0 vs the Nets is not a great spot to be in but with two home games they still have a chance. If they win tonight it's a 5 game series and they'll have home court advantage.

In the words of KG, "Anything is possible". I think tonight is a must win for the Bucks. If they lose to the Nets and go down 0-2 in the series, they arent beating the Nets 4 out of 5 unless KD and/or Kyrie get hurt and miss games. Yall can spin it all you want but the Bucks best player is Giannis and he hasnt given anyone any type of confidence that he can lead the team from a hole. The Bucks havent done anything special in the playoffs as long as I can remember. So I dont see where the confidence would come from with people if the Bucks lose tonight.
