TheRealMcCoy
Colts are getting expensive. Darius Leonard next.
TitanLegend
Best problem to have, needing to spend a bunch on home grown players. Need to sign Nelson next, help keep the fronts of both offense and defense set. If they can figure out a solution at QB, they'll be set.
ET80
That's a big extension for a good player. Gonna be interesting to see what they pay Quentin Nelson.
Blackstar12
So it winds up five years, $72.4m average is $14.5m/year. That’s a great deal for a really good OT that gave up 0 sacks last year. Blackstar12
Seems like a lot of casuals don’t know Smith or how good he is. He’s one of only 3 OTs to play 900+ snaps last season and allow 0 sacks.
TheKillerNacho
that's... a lot of money for a Right Tackle.

Trentwannabe
Nice deal. Colts are rewarding home grown talent with two obvious guys up next.

A lot of teams are having their premiere edge rusher against the Right Tackle. LT still has a slight edge just due to the blind side, but I'd say that the quality of opponent that an RT faces compared to an LT isn't a thing any more.
