And this move adds some legitimacy to that. This lets us take our time growing him. And Gilmore is such a great fit for this defense. Dak was excellent as per usual but the run defense was more of the issue than anything else. Dallas had a great game-plan tbh. Not to say we played our best but the Cowboys are just a damn good team. And I think the Panthers realized they needed another edge if we are to play them again. One of the first things our GM said when he got hired was we are going to be in on every deal. And he means it. I love having a team that will do what it takes to win. Maybe our aggressiveness will backfire one day, but it is such a breath of fresh air.
