OFFENSE

Lance is going to do his thing, I trust him.  A lot of deep throws on the run.  Go get em Lance!

DEFENSE

We will substitute and match up personnel as needed.  Generally be aggressive and violent.

Week 5 Gameplan

Motivation: Things look bleak but we are gonna turn it around

Offensive Formations: Our dominant formation this week will be Shotgun 2WR/1TE/2RB (50%), 4 WR/1RB (25%), 3WR/1TE/1RB (25%)

Tempo: Playing a traditional tempo with lots of motion before the snap to help LJ see formations and reads.

Designed Playcall Distribution: 65% run, 35% pass

Running: This week we will be run heavy.  A lot of triple option runs from our base formation.  Zone read options/outside runs/inside traps will be thrown in a decent amount to keep our playcalling not entirely one dimensional in regard to run.

Passing: quick passes like WR and TE screens, flare passes to the RB's coming out of the backfield, and push/shovel passes will be seen a lot when passing.  We will time our play action and deep shots which should be huge plays given Gotham's back end will be always cheating up to help with our heavy run game.

First drive of the game: Triple option, triple option, triple option, play action bomb.  We are gonna set the tone early with the run and play action.

Defense Base Formation: Nickle

Playstyle: Heavy dose of Nickle-Man D with a high percentage of blitzes.  Our DB's are healthy and are elite.  We want to keep the passing windows extremely tight and quick, we will do that by playing bump and run a lot with bliztes from LB's/CB's/S's.  We will look to disguise things by showing all out blitzes before the snap and varying who blitzes.  We want to make things very uncomfortable for Gotham's QB and their O-line.

Run defense:  As stated we are blitzing heavy this week which will help stop the run.

Passing Defense: Make things uncomfortable for Gotham QB and o-line.  Heavy blitzing from LB's, CB's and S's.  Varying who is blitzing and where will be key.  Landry will be unleashed this week and be a key blitzer, but not the only one.  Gotham's QB is gonna be hit and hit hard all game.  Forcing him to make bad quick decisions is what we want to do.  Give our playmakers on d a game to let loose and have fun.
