Easy little triple double with 10 mins left in the 3rd. No biggie

agarcia34
Sucks for KD. Reminds me of the time when he was with the Warriors and had a freak injury like that happened when Zara fell into him.

lomaxgrUK
Really good game between the Nuggets and Jazz for 3 quarters. Maybe my favourite game to watch so far this year for that time period. Eventually, the Jazz's stronger rotation kicked in, with Denver's 2nd stint from the bench ending as a total disaster. What will be interesting to see is if Snyder sticks with the Gobert staggering that he stumbled into in his absence in the last Nuggets game. I commented here that Rudy Gay as a stretch 5 really troubled Denver, as they couldn't find the entry pass to Jokic and Gay just owned Jokic on the outside with 3's Offensively. Usually, Snyder just matches Jokic minutes with Gobert. Last night, he didn't. Jokic plays the first 11 minutes every game and Snyder pulled Gobert after about 6. The Nuggets struggled again to feast with Gay on Jokic, but then Gobert went absolutely nuts Offensively in the non-Jokic minutes, with Denver not having a true backup 5. Jazz tried the same rotation in the 2nd half, but Denver really attacked the rim without Rudy in there and brought it all the way back. But then Gobert feasted again in the 2nd Jokic bench stint and that was that. Really interested to see in future matchups whether the Gobert staggering was him playing for the first time in a while, or whether they are going to stick with that. Jokic headsup vs Gobert is a Denver plus. That's not arrogance, it's just a fact. Doesn't mean Denver are better than the Jazz in those minutes, it just means that the alternative of Gobert against Denver's bench is a far worse matchup. Honestly, Jokic vs Gobert might be the most fun individual matchup in all of the NBA. Edited January 17, 2022 by lomaxgrUK

But Lauri is an issue when he’s isolated. His lateral movement is nowhere near Mobley or Allen’s.
Troy Brown
Cs 7-3 in their last 10 with the Jays playing generally well together. This is exciting.
