Had no idea Lavine was a UFA. Damn, hope he stays in Chicago.

Nets are in a very tough situation. If they don't extend Kyrie on a max deal, what does KD do?

Harden will most certainly opt in at the very least.

Not really understanding the issues with Ayton and the Suns coaching staff. Like whatever they had going on, it should have been handled by now.

Lakers have no choice but to move Westbrook...Question is do they give up one first rounder or more to move him? Think one should be able to get it done with him having an expiring deal.

There are only a handful of teams with enough cap space to sign Lavine out right so if he does move on it will likely be via S&T.

Durant is under contract for the next four seasons, not much he can do.

Yeah I'd guess he opts in but wouldn't be surprised if he moves on after next year.

Ayton's agent: We’re disappointed. We wanted a max contract,” The Suns will go $10M into the luxury tax if they extend him or match a max offer sheet.

Seems like a few teams are interested in his expiring deal if they can dump guys with more years on their deals so they can extend young guys.

lol Suns seem to want to become irrelevant again, Chris Paul is aged out and Ayton moving on, Booker can't do it himself.

CP3 still has 3 yr/$100M left too, I don't get the logic of moving on from Ayton though.

Zach LaVine an option for Mavericks?

Sources nonetheless maintain that one option already being weighed by team brass is the prospect of joining the sign-and-trade bidding for the Chicago Bulls’ Zach LaVine, amid a growing belief around the league that LaVine, as he heads into free agency, has more interest in leaving Chicago than initially presumed. Atlanta, Portland and San Antonio — all of whom possess either the cap space or the trade pieces to more readily chase him — have already been mentioned as likely LaVine suitors.

The New York Daily News reported on Wednesday that the Nets were unwilling to offer Irving a long-term contract. SNY has not independently confirmed that report. But if Irving opts out and the Nets have trouble finding common ground with the seven-time All-Star, opposing teams believe the club will be open to exploring trades of Irving.
