Week 17 Covid List Discussion

Expect a bunch of activations by 4 PM ET today - under the new rules, teams have to activate players off the Covid list today, even if it's only Day 4, to be able to activate them tomorrow after their screen for symptoms/fever on Day 5.

But Darren Waller, who is vaccinated, cannot play.

No excuses for us tomorrow. If we lose, we don’t deserve to sniff the postseason.

All I know is Drew Lock is still starting. So I'm picking the chargers.

Dude's 3-1 vs the Chargers on his career.  Not sure why that should be bolster your confidence in the Chargers.

Probably because Lock has seriously regressed since 2019. He’s also more likely to also turn the ball over than Teddy.

Fluke first few games my friend. He's been terrible since his last chargers win sans last week where he didn't play bad. But didn't contribute anything either

@ET80 if this belongs in a Week 18 Covid-19 news thread, no worries with moving it there.

Even though there's enough time to get activated, they'll have had no practice, and as we've seen with a bunch of guys - their conditioning is way below normal.    With Burrow's knee injury late, and a known outcome from the KC-DEN game on Saturday that would make it a get-out-of-4-seed only if BUF/TEN lost their games, I expect the Bengals will decide to sit Burrow and let their Covid & banged up starters (Logan Wilson, the T's and Spain, likely Bell and whoever else is hurting / needs a bye week) to sit out the CLE game.
