Sounds like the Texans are going for Flores, maybe try to rebuild the bridge with Watson?

Flores apparently was one of the bigger reasons he wanted to get traded to Miami.

For @ET80's sake. I kinda feel like this is the best that can be hoped for in the short term at least.

Yeah, keep Watson. Could probably trade Mills for a pick in this class.
Maybe trade back with a team who wants one of those top edges or OTs.

Build out the team, get a WR. Like ownership and management would still be bad, but it takes the franchise out of the “I wanna take a bath with a toaster” level of ineptitude.

I'd rather he not from a legacy side of it. Like he goes AFC it's really no big deal.
Vikings, Bears..kinda close but all good.
But weird to have a statue outside of the coach for a division rival.

From a talent standpoint I'm not that worried unless Doug can get a good staff.
Like I could see him bringing Nagy with him. Juan Castillo was with the Bears, as was Defilippo.
They need some to totally revamp that offense.

Please, don't go there Doug. Pretty much everywhere else I can have some measure of support for him but not if he goes to a division rival.

This is how I feel. Doug is a really likeable dude and a pretty good coach. I want to be able to root him where he goes next.
