Maybe Arians comes from the PIT lineage though and they never draft WR early

I wouldnt write it off, Vikings got Jefferson at pick 22. Pick 27 maybe a top talent slips

They haven t drafted a WR before day 3 since Godwin.  Theit WR screen game vanished when Godwin went out.  With Grayson and Miller on the roster, they will still have the outside burner specialist.  They need a better Perriman on the roster badly.  I know they really like Dionte Johnson a few years back, but the Steelers got him.  WR3 on this team is a starter, and it is a giant hole on the roster.  I'll be shocked if they don t go WR by round 3.

I thought I read this draft has good WR talent, but not as much depth as the previous 2 yrs.

Both Dean and Bunting UFA in 2023 with cap space being a question mark down the line. Bucs have a lot to think about in March

Yea they definitely do...  Than if Brady retires add another problem to the list.  I think we should try and keep Dean with a decent contract than let Bunting go.

This draft is gonna come down to TB12 and his decision:

1. If he stays, they'll be some turnover, but I'd expect a similar roster construction to the last few seasons. Brining in the vets to fill key spots and keep that win now window.

2. If he retires, I think we're looking at a re-tool (not a complete rebuild, but closer than not).

I m curious how ACL injuries will effect draft slot for a prospect.  The last I can remember is Jeffery Simmons coming out.  I thought he was touted to be a borderline top 5, but slid to.15.  I'm not suggesting Williams makes it to 27, but if he starts to slide, could Licht go.up and get him?
