Just knowing that Obi Wan survives this prolly means he disposes of most, if not all, of the hunters coming after him in this series. He’s so badass and arguably the greatest Jedi ever.  He’s at least top 2 with Luke Skywalker being the other (and no I don’t count the EU).

The inquisitors aren’t that strong, they just have numbers. Ahsoka took down 2 of them herself very easily. Obi Wan would easily wreck them if he uses his lightsaber, which he probably won’t for much of it.

What is Luke the greatest at?

-Blew up the first Death Star saving the rebellion and potentially billions of lives if not more.  Sure he had help but he made the shot.

-he survived one on one lightsaber combat with Darth Vader as a noob and later beat the ever loving **** out of him in ROTJ.  He helped defeat the Emperor (well for 36 yrs our time at least lol) by turning his father back to the light thus crippling the empire.

-he rescued who knows how many ppl including future padawans.

-his Force projection in TLJ is the single most impressive and powerful use of the Force that we’ve seen and it ain’t even close.  He singlehandedly defeated Kylo Ren allowing the Resistance to escape and he wasn’t even in the same galaxy.

-he helped Rey get off Ahch-To by hooking her up with his submerged X-Wing so she could go defeat Grandpa Palpatine lol.

I think Luke is the MVP but Obi Wan is like OPOY.  You could go 1A or 1B for either of them being the Jedi GOAT iyam.

-Obi Wan defeated Darth Maul, General Grievous and Anakin Skywalker in one on one combat no less!

-he survived Order 66 and rescued Luke Skywalker by taking him into exile and keeping him alive for 17 yrs on Tattoine ensuring the eventual fall of the Galactic Empire.  Judging by this series, he prolly does even more.

-his sacrifice not only helped the gang escape the Death Star (even if Vader manipulated it to track them, Kenobi still disabled the tractor beam) but also guided Luke on his way to becoming a bonafide Jedi.

Most of the inquisitors show up or meet their demise in Rebels. There were one or two that in trailer footage that don't.

He also quit being a Jedi after failing his nephew and abandoned his family and sister.

Nobody said he was perfect lol.  He was yet again the only Jedi even left so he didn't exactly quit.   He did what he learned from Ben and Yoda who both went into exile after spectacular failures themselves.  Leia chose a different path.  She could've found Luke if she tried bcuz her force sensitivity is off the charts.  But she was focused on leading the Resistance.

Well he was the last Jedi because he lost his best student to the dark side and he slaughtered all his students. Tough to call him the greatest Jedi. Gotta be one in the old republic that didn’t do that.

I think if you weigh how a Jedi can stick to the path of the light as a main trait, Luke endured more than most. His resume is impressive but so is a lot of what war time Jedi did. Opportunity and focus help paint him in a better light for sure. He is a very powerful Jedi, but a lot of what he has done I would say many other masters could do given the opportunity.
