You think losing 7 games in a row is a resume-enhancer for an NFL coach? Riiiiight. Flores always seemed defensive-oriented, and quite brilliant at it too. Offense...a mess from day one. 3 OC's in 3 years is madness. Well actually it was 4 OC's in 3 years because last season was "co-OC's" which is also madness. Who does that? Love to see Flores be a HC again somewhere. He's a dang cool dude. The NFL merry-go-round has coaches bouncing around constantly. True but winning the next 8 out of 9 changes that losing 7 in a row totally. Not to mention going 10-6 the year previous. But sure he is not some QB coach, but that apparently is all the NFL wants now a days is a QB coach HC that makes the QB happy. When really the successful ones are just lucky to have a great QB and they make the coach look good. Sure McVay got to the Super Bowl with just Goff at QB but they had Todd Gurley at his peak who was a MVP contender, but that D had Talib, Marcus Peters, Suh, Fowler, Joyner, John Johnson and Brockers not to mention Aaron Donald... 37 minutes ago, TheKillerNacho said: Didn't say he was. Not to mention being paid millions of dollars sometimes to do it and having one of the most public rewarding jobs on earth in one of the most watches sports on earth. Sure is not fun when you lose all the negative attention, but you still get paid either way and most likely could work your way into another job doing the same thing even in a bad season. Clear Super Bowl contenders in 2020 with a different QB. Ben fell off a cliff mid way through the year and arm died. He should have never returned for 2021, as his arm was still totally dead. But no way they trade up to get him, he could easily fall right to them. Not clue what they do with Burrow and Lamar Jackson in the same division, it will be tough unless they become much more of a run team than they have been in the past. They were the 4th worst running team in the NFL this past year and that was with Najee getting over 1000 yards rushing. As of now Kirk Cousins entire career he has won one game that matters in 10 years, the playoff game against the Saints then the next week they get blow out by the 49ers. So yeah Cousins puts up stats but until it equals winning games that matter, it is honestly worthless. Sure stats he has put up have been good, also his ability to stay healthy despite being hit constantly but he simply does not seem like a Pittsburgh Steeler to me and I seriously doubt the Steelers go after him. Jimmy G at least has some toughness and mobility and grit to him, and again has actually won games but sure maybe Kirk just has not been put into position to win those games. Then again it is not like the Vikings are the Detroit Lions here with Matthew Stafford, they had talent around Kirk more than once. Either way doubt the Steelers go with either one because of the price tag but no clue who they go with at QB, sure hope it is not Dwayne Haskins. Any Top 10-12 QB and the 49ers have two Super Bowl Championships. Super Bowl against the Chiefs he missed more throws than I can count. 2021 playoffs most dropped picks ever in one postseason. He's average. Maybe even slightly below average. Edit: Also one of the most fragile QB's in the NFL.
