As long as they don’t have a complete meltdown, it’s them.

Dallas has the far superior QB when he is playing really bad teams.

Dude had a 25 TD 10 pick 98 rated season until he hit the lottery with Covid DC, Arizona on a 6 game bender where they only beat Dallas, and Philly's backups.

Seriously, Detroit annihilated that Cardinals team

He's one of the most overrated players in NFL history.

He was better than Hurts last year. He might be better than Hurts this year. He is not special.

His record outside the division since his rookie year is abysmal. (18-26, this is not opinion)

His record when his team does not run for 120+ is horrific. (this is also not opinion)

  • 2016 - 2-3
  • 2017 - 1-4
  • 2018 - 3-4
  • 2019 - 2-4
  • 2020 - 0-2 (backups were 2-5)
  • 2021 - 1-5  (Cooper Rush was 1-0)
  • That's 9-22 with 3-5 from other Dallas QBs

(2020 Foles in Chicago got 57 yards rushing support per game and went 2-5, Dak would have done the same or worse based on his reality)

He's just a guy. (a guy who had a unicorn rookie season that was ages ago)

You might be 100% right, but I also think extremely low of Hurts, Wentz, and Jones.

So let’s say Dak is average, that’s still way better than the other 3 QBs.

Eagles need a secondary. If they can, id say them. I actually like Hurtz and the addition of Brown is huge for them.

cowboys 11-6 -- Could be either really f-ing good or just good. Does Lamb take that leap as the guy ?

eagles 9-8 -- Offense will put up points

Commanders- 8-9 -- I think they will be decent. Idk if Wentz can stay healthy but they have an overall average team. Dotson I think could be the sleeper WR of the draft.

Giants 4-13 -- Jones is just not it. They will have alot of bright spots to look forward to. They go into next draft as a team in need for a QB. Theyre still 3-4 years away

Hurts (counting his running 784 and 10 at 5.6 per) and Wentz were both about average last year. (assuming average is 13-20 or so)

You can make a pretty convincing argument Hurts was 16th ahead of Lamar Jackson, Matt Ryan, Goff, Jones, Tua, Teddy, and Tannehill.

He was middle of the pack in 4QC and GWD.

He was middle of the pack in combined yards per game.

He was middle of the pack in TDs created and TDs created vs turnovers.

I'm not talking drop back accuracy, I'm talking NFL QB play on the field.  (yes, he also beat up on the bad teams last year but it was his first full year)

All expectations are that a QB in year 3 as a year 2 starter will improve. He went out of his way to work on mechanics and accuracy (Tom House) this offseason and his weapons improved.

Dak is a product of the team around him. It just so happens that the team around him in 2016 was really good.

It also happens that the team around him has been way better than the Giants and DC for a while.

That team to a big step back on offense this offseason.

Brady was not a great QB because he crushed the Bills and Jets, it was everything else he did that made him great.

Rodgers kills the Bears and the Lions but he also dominates every else (regular season anyway)

Dak's not the guy, not even close.

Here's another way to look at it.

From 2018 on Cousins has absolutely beyond any doubt been a disappointment in Minnesota.

He's 33-29-1 with a 103.9 rating and 1 playoff win.

In the same time Dak is 31-22 with a 100.3 and 1 playoff win but he's great?

The difference in record is pretty much having to play the .500 Bears and the 45-19-1 Packers instead of 24-41 DC and .500 Philly (NY and Detroit both sucked)

And Philly did not show up to one of those games (5 TDs against scrubs, wow!)

2018-now Dak has been less than Cousins but the division shift hides it.

Going with history of an NFC East team not repeating as champs twice in a row in over 15 years  I am going with the Eagles.

Same, won't be Dallas but honestly not sure who from the other 3 teams wins the East? Injuries will play factory.
