Dome
They really took their time with this , saints fans have only been asking for him for about a decade 😂 Marcus Maye and Tyrann Mathieu is a good starting duo, and PJ Williams is a great #3 safety for when we need that versatility. This also allows CJGJ to play his more natural role as well, as Matthieu will be covering the duties CJGJ was going to get pulled away to cover
tyler735
Great signing. Really the last piece we needed on defense for this season. Should be a top 5 unit again this year. If Winston can play at a similar level that he did last season we might be one of the better NFC teams this year.
MOSteelers56
I'd like to see the numbers. Probably a pretty good price for the Saints.
sammymvpknight
The Saints are loaded. They’re is no reason they shouldn’t be contenders this year…even if Winston is meh

SkippyX
This move slides the Eagles draft pick further into the teens / early twenties, booo! Saints clean up because no one else bothered.

In Tampa Bay he was asked to do a lot more than he needed to do with the Saints, especially when Arians came in and their offense was supposed to go for the big play regardless of coverage. Even Brady started off pace for his highest INT total of his career the first year before he told Arians to sit down and shut up as they're running Brady's offense going forward.

Jameis looked like a completely different QB in the first half of last year. 14/3 TD/INT ratio is ridiculous for any QB, but is a huge testament to the coaching staff if it's Jameis. And that was when he was throwing to the all-star cast of…. Deonte Hardy, Adam Trautman, Juwan Johnson and Marquez Callaway.. It’s also a huge testament to a defense that continuously put Jameis in can’t lose situations. If the defense is good again, Jameis will be put in good spots again, this time with better weapons. I really can't wait to see Winston throwing to the god possession receiver CGM and then a legit sure handed touchdown machine deep threat that is Olave. KingOfNewYork
Jets and Toilet Bowles once opted against Mathieu because we had Marcus Maye and now they’re playing together against Bowles twice a year.
Kiltman
booooo Woulda loved to get him, but getting AJ Brown probably took us out officially. Wish nothing but the worst for them, just business @Dome…you understand?!? Cant have another year of an extra first that starts in the top 10 then flirts with the playoffs by years end.
