NYRaider Posted June 17, 2022 Author Share Posted June 17, 2022 Two trades I'd like to see us make: Trade 1 - Jazz receive: KCP, Ish Smith | Wizards receive: Mike Conley Trade 2 - Jazz receive: Tobias Harris, #23 | 76ers receive: Bojan Bogdanovic, Juan Hernagomez, Rudy Gay The Wizards get their veteran PG without having to give up #10 and the Jazz get a 3&D wing that allows Donovan to slide to the 2. The 76ers get a ton of cap relief as they can waive Hernagomez which saves them $7.4M and then waive Gay using the 5 year waiver which saves $5M. So they'd move on from Tobias $37M and only bring back $19.5M in salary in Bojan who is on an expiring deal. The Jazz get a 4 that's bigger, better defensively, and a better rebounder. Conley averaged 14/5 and was one of the best 3P shooters in the league last season. He struggled in the playoffs but he was worn out, when he had more load management the year before he was excellent in the playoffs. According to insiders Conley is still valued around the league and multiple teams are interested in trading for him. KCP on an expiring deal is super valuable? FA class sucks but the offseason has always been about offseason trades that make the offseason so crazy imo.
