Week 11 - Rams at Vikings

The frustrating thing about this game is Keenum isn’t doing anything special. Yes he got out of some potential sacks that guys whiffed, but throwing short, quick passes that the Rams are just missing tackles on. So miss tackles, key drops, and a big fumble killed the Rams.

Corners aren't the only reason we are losing this game. Latavius Murray is having his best game as a Viking so far. Our rush defense is a problem and will continue to be one.

They had 7 points until we lost our #2 and #3 CBs. It is the biggest reason why.

What does losing our #2 and #3 corner have to do with the offense not being able to sustain a drive in the 2nd half or Kupp fumbling and dropping passes? Corner played a factor, but not the entire reason we will lose this game.

Nothing. Our own miscues caused that. But the Vikings completely controlled the clock in the second half and kept us off the field because of the pass defense issues.

No. They controlled the clock because they can run the ball and we can't stop it. Because the defense is gassed. Because our offense can't sustain a drive. Not cause our #2 and #3 corners are hurt.

They're connected. We were stopping the run because we were bringing the safety into the box. Once we lost our CBs, we either had to keep our safeties back, or we had to blitz to try and force mistakes. We couldn't play the same way we played with NRC and Webster. It wasn't about the defense being gassed. It was our scheme completely changing once Webster and NRC went out. That's football. We should have had better depth.
