Yes against a Chiefs team that was the hottest in the NFL the first month of the season. A gm the Eagles were in the entire gm up until 1/2 way through the 4th despite losing Darren Sproles and without their best CB Ronald Darby.

Eagles also beat the Carolina Panthers. If in the coming two weeks they beat or split with Seattle and the Rams does that Instantly change because "now" the SOS is not higher?

Not speaking of you in particular but I'm sick and tired of people using the Injury Excuse for their teams when the Eagles have been playing without several key Starters, Pro Bowlers, future HOF now for weeks/months. That's all.

I just remember everyone including most Eagles fans looking at the upcoming 2017 schedule and suggesting Philadelphia "might" win 7 GM's on the year. Now with the parity in the NFL the way it is year in and year out with teams coming out of nowhere like the Rams and Eagles and Supposed power houses like Dallas , Cards and NYG crapping the bed. All of a sudden the schedule they've Played is Trash. That I'll never agree with. 4 of those teams losses came at the hands of the Eagles. That's all.

Every team with a winning record will have a lower SOS because they are giving their opponents losses, a 1-2 more wins for you opponents to match-up with the teams with teams that are 8-3 instead of 10-1.  The Philly opponents so far this year have won 48 out of a possible 121 games, or .405, if we were to take out the "Well Philly beat them" argument then it's 47/110 games, taking out the win against Philly as well, which is still only a .427 SOS.  Let's compare that to some other teams shall we?

(9-2) New England:  57/121 (.471) - 55/110 (.500)

(9-2) Minnesota:  59/121 (.487) - 57/110 (.518)

(8-3) New Orleans:  67/121 (.553) - 64/110 (.581)

(9-2) Pittsburgh:  56/121 (.462) - 54/110 (.491)

(8-3) L.A. Rams: 56/121 (.462) - 53/110 (.481)

(10-1) Philly: 48/121 (.405) - 47/110 (.427)

Do you not see the massive difference in SOS here and why some might question Philly's ranking based on schedule and rank others that have done well against stronger opponents?  Almost everyone still places them at #1 with the only exception being the defending champs in New England who have only 1 more loss but a much stronger opponent base?  Their opponents win almost 1 game more on average.

I like seeing Phillys trophy case empty.. Makes me feel better.

At the root of every person who discredits/questions/downplays the 2017 Eagles and their current 10-1 record, this message reverberates throughout their soul.

@808 maybe they are just looking at all the facts and think that maybe the Eagles haven't really been tested much and think they need some more evidence, which they will definitely get over the next 2 weeks.  If they handle both opponets there will be no doubt.

No doubt. The next 14 days will tell us all a lot. These pesky schedule makers, who gave the Eagles the easiest of them all, have them playing @ Seattle and @ LA Rams in back-to-back weeks.

Imagine if Dallas and the Giants were, well not crap this season. Would of been 4 of the 6 on the Road in that stretch? But hey SOS!!!

Its not like the Eagles are barely beating these teams. They are straight destroying their souls. Eagles haven't won by less than 1 score since week 6. This is the NFL strength of schedule doesn't matter nearly as much as college. No cupcakes in the NFL (ok maybe 1........or 2)

But the next two weeks will be their biggests tests since week 6 for sure.

Which I've also mentioned is that the Eagles have dominated the teams they should be dominating, we just haven't had a large enough sample size against teams that can and should give them a test to get a true gauge of their strength, though they should be ranked #1, there are still questions that should be answered over the next 2 weeks.

And at the Eagles head quarters there lies an empty trophy room.. There's only one good team on Pennsylvania and it rhymes with

Steelers.

But I would negate that with the fact that the Patriots have lost the most games due to injury (based on players) according to Man-Games-Lost of all Post-Season teams.

That Saints schedule has been brutal this season.
