They offered Davante a larger deal than the Raiders did. He wanted to go home. We explored the only avenue we reasonably could've and drafted two talented kids. This season has exposed a massive reason why Rodgers is the most talented QB of all time (though mahomes is pushing him there) but far from the greatest. No patience to defer to others and make the team work, perhaps because McCarthys entire game plan was "hope Aaron wins it for us... That's it!" and making stupid throws down after down after down after down when it's clear as day that they aren't working, and that he isn't the guy from a decade back that could do the impossible. It's actually getting sad to watch, and quickly. It seems he would prefer to lose as part of the Aaron Rodgers show than win as just one of the team that is the Green Bay Packers.
