They have gotten both this game. They just rarely do it. And almost never do it in critical times

McVay has respect because he's gotten proven results. His respect is based on results and there is a reason he's acknowledged as a great coach. 

Patrick Graham has not gotten results and the ONLY thing people can say good about him is he's somehow respected in spite of the objective lack of results and in the total absence of anything else remotely positive about his job performance.

I'm sorry that's a difficult concept for you to grasp.
