MacReady Posted December 25, 2022 Share Posted December 25, 2022 Seriously though, McDaniel is the type of coach who goes for two when trailing 14 points after scoring a TD. Having Jenkins jump offsides to turn that 2nd and short into 1st and 10 was a big balls move. It's the biggest no brainer out there in low time scenarios. 24/32 teams are going to convert either on 2nd or 3rd and short. Instead of letting them kill time by running one or two plays before getting it to another 1st and 10, you kill two plays and get to the game scenario of 1st and 10 instead.
