Gopackgonerd
It being backloaded is very very nioce. You don't even get to the brunt of it till year 3.

The minimum salary for a guy with Jenkins accrued years is actually $1.08M so they round it up there. It's not hard to imaginen that the roster bonus and/or workout bonuses are being rounded up as well.
Brat&Beer
Elgton contract details.
vegas492
Jesus. The more I see of that contract, the more I like it. I'm no cap expert, but even I can see how to extend that thing to make it even friendlier if needed. (Or longer) It just seems like a great deal for the club. Mazrimiv
Throw out the last year of the deal (which is highly unlikely to be played under) and Jenkins remains a Packer through 2025 with cap hits of 2023 - 7M 2024 - 14.5M 2025 - 17.6M With 4.8M dead cash in 2026 if the FO decides it's time to move on from Jenkins as he heads into his 30's. After what happened with Bak, I don't expect GB to extend Jenkins beyond this contract.
Arthur Penske
Now just let Zach Tom become the Elgton at tackle.
Mazrimiv
Based on his incentives, Jenkins will definitely be getting another shot at tackle.

He's still probably the LT of the future, no matter how well Tom or Yosh will do subbing in for Bak. Bit of bad news for Tom, perhaps, but there's room to grow and depending on how Myers develops, he may become the future at Center.
