What’s important is winning football games, not being a stat nerd about one very cherry picked statistic. When you can’t even win greater than 50% of your matchups you shouldn’t be talking. That said, of course there is more to a deeper analysis than looking at w/L… but not to the point of absurdity. The only thing stupid here is clinging to one stat while your team has lost greater than half of its games… and then getting chirpy after a recent win. It’s opportunistic and dumb.
