I really doubted Jaire .. thought he'd get lit up today.

Agreed. When he made the fluke comment I thought "oh man just shut up, don't give them bulletin board material".

And then when he did the griddy I thought the same thing.

But he backed it up. He brings an attitude to this defense

you don't have to wonder. the answer is known.

the answer is that there are far better metrics of measuring how good a team is than their record. Not infrequently, teams' records are not very indicative of their real ability due to many variables. Far more of which are captured in DVOA than are in the W/L column.

One only needs to not be stupid to understand this after it's been repeatedly pointed out to them.

What’s important is winning football games, not being a stat nerd about one very cherry picked statistic. When you can’t even win greater than 50% of your matchups you shouldn’t be talking.
That said, of course there is more to a deeper analysis than looking at w/L… but not to the point of absurdity. The only thing stupid here is clinging to one stat while your team has lost greater than half of its games… and then getting chirpy after a recent win. It’s opportunistic and dumb.

if you have literally ANY type of job you earned on some form of merit, you should be proud you've fulfilled your potential

We’ve won half our games, not less than half.

Ah yes thank you for that big distinction lol. The point remains the same. Congrats on to getting .500

By beating the snot out of the Queens .. getting to .500 has never been better.  God I'd love to play them again in the playoffs after winning 5 in a row and them losing 2 in a row.

Their super bowl was week 1, they've been riding that emotional high for this whole season, which is typical for a team that just climbed the highest mountain.

It always does come crashing down come January, very hard to repeat in this league. It was a good run Vikings, but daddies home now. To bed with ya.
